Coaching

Coaching has a different flavour to therapy, like therapy it takes place within a supportive relationship but unlike therapy our concern isn’t healing, in coaching the emphasis is on closing the gap between your current position and your potential.

Coaching recognises where you are and envisions where you want to go, we explore what may be holding you back in the present with a view to identifying and implementing strength-based solutions. Coaching is explicit about making change happen, it’s about self-empowerment through self-awareness, self-management and increased self-efficacy. Coaching assumes your level of okayness and enthusiasm to enter into a collaborative relationship focusing on the specific changes you want to make..

My approach to coaching is flexible and geared to suit your individual needs. The type of coaching I provide is often described as life coaching but regularly transformational coaching is a better descripor. Finding your way to fundamental sustainable change may require you to dig deep and look at your values, beliefs, and philosophy about life, relationships, and work.
